Pumping Rule Amendment

Following several questions and requests for interpretation around the pumping rule, WASZP has reviewed the rule wording with a team of judges.

The pumping rule wording has been amended, as well as the pumping guidance. The latest wording is simpler and clearer. 

Although this amendment has been made during the season, the change does not dramatically affect the pumping technique used by sailors.

Sailors are encouraged to review the revised wording in preparation for the upcoming events this season.
